WHAT’S INCLUDED

Join Women’s Outdoor Initiative and Next Level Ranges in Louisville, Kentucky, on November 8th from 10 AM - 6 PM for a Concealed Carry and Home Defense course designed to help you become a safer, more confident firearm owner. This class meets the Kentucky state training requirement to apply for a Concealed Carry Deadly Weapon (CCDW) license and covers far more than just shooting. Throughout the day, we'll discuss developing a personal and home protection plan, firearm safety and shooting fundamentals, the legal use of force, and what to expect before, during, and after a violent encounter. The course is designed to be welcoming for both new and experienced shooters, and participants ages 18-20 are now eligible to attend.

The class will be held at Next Level Ranges, a modern, training-focused facility in Louisville that emphasizes safety, education, and practical skill development. Lunch is included, and participants should plan to bring a handgun, eye and ear protection, and approximately 50 rounds of ammunition. Don't have your own equipment? No problem. Firearms, safety gear, and other necessary items are available for rent or purchase at the range. Whether your goal is obtaining your Kentucky CCDW permit, building confidence with your firearm, or simply learning more about personal protection, this course provides a solid foundation in a supportive environment

INCLUDED LUNCH OPTIONS

It is recommended that you bring at least 50 rounds of ammunition, a handgun, and hearing and eye protection. You are also able to rent/purchse these items at Next Level Ranges, where the class is held. Please talk with Lauren if you have any questions.

This course is focused on Kentucky residents. Please check with your state to see whether cross-state education courses are accepted.
